Route-28 Winter Advance - Feb 17-19 We are excited to have our annual R28 with guest speaker Pastor John Shin from Good Stewards Church. We will be staying at Pinecrest Christian Camp from Friday 1/17-Sunday 1/19. The cost for the retreat is $75. Mark your calendars now and invite your friends! It's going to be a great weekend. It is without question the most important thing we can do as a church. We are setting aside a corporate time to just seek the Lord in prayer on Friday, February 24th at 7:30 PM. If you have any questions, please speak to Pastor David (pastordavidlivinghopecc.org) Membership Class - Feb 25 Membership Class Is Coming Up! You can attend the required class on Saturday (2/25, 9am-12noon) held at the Brea Ministry Center. Please complete a Membership Application, have a brief interview with Pastor/Elder of LHCC, and turn in your completed application during class. Space is UNLIMITED. Childcare provided. Route-28 Hermeneutics Classes Join us after second service for the next 10 weeks as we learn how to study our bibles together. We will learn about the different genres of the bible as well as learning how to read and understand the bible correctly. The class is $15 which includes two books as well as lunch every week. Discipleship Training Class #4 - Jan 22 Discipleship Training Class #4 starts on January 22nd (Sunday) at 11:10AM. There are 5 sessions to the class (1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19). Each session will be held at Rowland Elementary School in classroom 23. The class will be taught by Pastor David Kim. Church Prayer Requests Pray for those in our church family and extended family who are in need of physical healing: - Kenneth Pak as he continues his long road to recovery (See the Pray for Kenneth Facebook page for continual updates) - Others who are needing private and personal prayer. Pray for Pastor Steve as he and his family spend the month of February in a Sabbatical. Pray that it would be spiritually and educationally fruitful. Pray that Living Hope in 2012 would: 1. Begin worship at our unfinished "Church to Call Home" 2. Strengthen our Core Ministries of Cell Group and Christian Education. 3. Launch a portion of the Radical Experiment.
